A rotating creative refers to multiple creatives or variations of the same creative being served under a single ad tag. This feature ensures dynamic ad content but may require monitoring for proper functionality.
Rotating creative test in Advalidation
When this test/setting is enabled, Advalidation runs the ad several times in order to detect if multiple versions are being served under one tag.
If Rotating creatives are detected as part of the QA, screenshots of the different creative variations will be displayed in the side panel which will appear when when clicking on the "Rotating Creative Detected" warning.
The preview may not show the entire ad but will highlight detected variations for review.
Advalidation's recommendation
We recommend using this setting to monitor rotating creatives and review the detected variations to ensure correct ad delivery and performance tracking.
