What is Timecode?
A Timecode is a sequence identifying a frame or point in a media file, typically in the format "hours:minutes:seconds:frames" (HH:MM:SS:FF).
It is an extra data stream added to video files to help alleviate real-time/frame count time drift that would otherwise cause issues in some broadcasting environments.
Timecode is also used as a tool for precise communication and navigation in video and audio files.
Advalidation's recommendation
Enabling the Timecode parameter in your Video spec entirely depends on whether Timecode is an essential tool for you as a publisher.
Happy validating!
